Dr. Nathan Newman

Dr. Nate Newman is one of the world’s foremost experts in the synthesis, characterization, and modeling of advanced electronic materials. His deep expertise in Electron Paramagnetic Resonance and advanced sensing technologies forms the scientific foundation of Minim Science’s platform.

He is co-author of 225 peer-reviewed publications, over 10,000 citations, and 16 U.S. patents. He has served as the Chair of the U.S. Committee on Superconductor Electronics, is an IEEE Van Duzer Award recipient, and a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors. Dr. Newman earned his Ph.D. and M.S. from Stanford University.

Together with Jason, he co-founded the company to bring laboratory-grade precision out of the research setting and into the food safety system, making physics-based measurement accessible at the point of production.
